On December 2, 2025, AAARI hosted Professor Zai Liang for a co-sponsored talk, “Transitions & Challenges: Chinatown Small Business After COVID.” Drawing on new research conducted in Summer 2025 by specialized research team from SUNY Albany, in collaboration with the Chinatown Partnership Local Development Corporation, the presentation explored how Chinatown’s small businesses are recovering in the post-pandemic era.
