Free Flood Kit at Flood Preparedness Townhall

The Chinatown BID is in partnership with NYC Small Business Services (SBS), Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), New York Law School, and a few other community organizations in hosting an educational flood preparedness town hall! This town hall is committed to helping small businesses to get ready for severe weather and flooding events, with FREE flood preparedness kits available for distribution to businesses. “Prepare Your Business For Flooding” Town Hall

 Monday, December 8th, 2025

 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

 New York Law School (185 West Broadway, Manhattan)

 Free flood preparedness kit available (while supplies last)

Please note: To receive the flood kit, businesses must RSVP in advance and attend the town hall in-person.
The flood kit will include: inflatable flood barriers, flood sensor alarm, sump pump, and more! The town hall will have a detailed presentation on how to use the kit and other resources available, and will also have Mandarin translators available.
