What is the Youth Empowerment Program?
- Launched by UA3 in 2024, the Youth Empowerment Program is a year-round after-school program in New York City designed to empower high school and college-aged youth, ranging from 14 to 24 years old. Our goal is to support mental health, enhance overall well-being, provide invaluable career development opportunities, and equip young individuals with the essential knowledge and skills to thrive in school and future careers.
- Currently, UA3 hosts workshops every Wednesday from 4 pm to 6 pm at Chinatown YMCA and we have invited numerous guest speakers to deliver engaging sessions on topics such as Mental Health, Physical Health, Building Healthy Teen Relationships, Resume Building, and Stress Reduction.
- Additionally, this program offers exciting opportunities such as community service hours and company visits to locations like Morgan Stanley, National Grid, and many others.
