Remembering Pvt. Danny Chen

In 2011, Pvt. Chen was found dead in Afghanistan after weeks of hazing and racial harassment by his superiors. When he enlisted, Danny did not know about the racism and culture of hazing in the military. This year, we commemorate Danny’s legacy and tell his story in advocating for freedom to choose, privacy, transparency, and accountability.

Join us on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 from 1PM to 1:45PM. Location: Pvt. Danny Chen Way corner of Canal Street and Elizabeth Street, Manhattan Chinatown.
