Chinatown Joins the 11th Annual Independence Day Parade in Lower Manhattan

Festival

July 2026

Saturday, July 4, 2026
Free and open to the public

This July 4th, Chinatown will not stand on the sidelines.

Chinatown Partnership LDC is proud to join community partners for the 11th Annual Independence Day Parade in Lower Manhattan on Saturday, July 4, 2026, as we celebrate history, community, Chinatown spirit, and America’s 250th birthday.

As America prepares to mark its 250th anniversary, we want to say clearly and proudly: America’s 250 is our 250. It is Chinatown’s 250. It is our immigrant families’ 250, our seniors’ 250, our veterans’ 250, our workers’ 250, our small businesses’ 250, and our community’s 250.

Chinatown has helped build this country, serve this country, feed this country, protect this country, and keep New York City alive through some of its hardest moments. Our community’s story is not separate from the American story. We are part of it. We belong in it. And on July 4th, we need to be visible in it.

That is why we strongly encourage community members, families, seniors, youth, veterans, local businesses, elected officials, board members, and friends of Chinatown to join us and parade with the Chinatown team. Your presence matters. This is more than a celebration. It is a statement that Chinatown is proud, present, and deeply rooted in the future of Lower Manhattan and America.

Join us. Walk with us. Stand with us. Celebrate with us.

America’s 250 is our community’s 250.
