The SBA New York District office is funded for the 6th year to offer the FREE Emerging Leaders executive level training program.
There are 20 slots open for businesses that meet the following criteria:
- At least $250,000 in annual sales but not to exceed $10 million
- At least 3 years in business
- At least 1 employee in addition to the owner
- Participant must be a key decision maker within the company such as the CEO, COO, CFO, Owner, or President.
Cannot miss more than two sessions of the class: April 7th, April 21th, May 12th, May 26th, June 9th, June 23rd, July 14th, July 28th, August 11th, Sept. 2nd, Sept. 23rd, Oct. 6th, Oct. 27th, and Nov. 10th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The program requires participants commit to a total 100 hours, including 40 hours of classroom training (11 Wednesdays and 2 Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM every two weeks) , 7 CEO mentoring meetings, and course work assignments from April to November. At the end of the program, participants will have a three year strategic plan tailored to their business, as well as a network of business resources that they can utilize well into the future. Classes will be April to November. The training program is sponsored by the SBA and is provided at no cost to participants.
