Homework Hub Chinatown

Date: Mondays, 2pm to 5pm
Nov 2, 9, 16 & 23, 2020

Place: Doyers & Pell Street (nearby 18 Doyers Street)

As part of their COVID response, Street Lab has launched pop-up, open-air meeting places for NYC students called Homework Hubs. To keep this program running in winter, they will be utilizing outdoor restaurant seating and heat lamps in partnership with NYC restaurants. Students of all ages can meet up with classmates, find a book to read, use art supplies, and do homework together, all while staying safe, socially-distanced, and outdoors. Masks are required and will be provided along with hand-sanitizer.

Street Lab staff and volunteers will be on-hand to offer help. Weekly enrichment activities, starting with Street Lab’s mark-making kit for making street art, are also planned. Hot chocolate and snacks will be provided for students, purchased from local businesses. NYC students: we want to see you and want you to see each other, while staying safe!
