The CARES Act and More: Relief for Nonprofits

Con Edison and Nonprofit New York have partnered to create a 4-part training series to help Con Edison’s grantees address issues that have arisen due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This session will provide a clear summary of the options available to help you mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on your organization.

Topics include:

  • Overview of financial relief programs under the CARES Act, including eligibility criteria for Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans
  • Insights into tax credits, charitable contributions rules, and employment law provisions
  • Other provisions under recent legislation relevant to the nonprofit community in NYC
  • Guidance on identifying and applying to private loan and grant programs as an alternative to government-sponsored programs

This session will be presented by NYLPI who will present an overview of the key financial relief programs and other provisions under recent legislation relevant to the nonprofit community in New York City.

Participants who complete the post-session evaluation can recieve a PDF copy of the presentation.
