Chinatown, located in lower Manhattan, is a urban neighborhood housing approximately 100,000 people.

Many Chinese people have settled in Chinatown and are keeping their old traditions alive. People who live in Chinatown primarily speak Cantonese but many can speak Mandarin as well.

Chinatown is home to many different buildings and landmarks, such as the Chatham Square, the Columbus Park, the Church of Transfiguration, and the Mahayana Buddhist Temple.
